BACKGROUND
Welcome to Schmucker Cleaning, a family-run business with three generations of knowledge and experience in the cleaning industry. Robert Schmucker migrated to Australia from the United States in 2005 and has made Townsville his permanent home for his family and business.
Our Mission
Our mission at Schmucker Cleaning is to create a respectful and dignified cleaning company where staff are supported and developed to enthusiastically deliver the best cleaning service in Townsville. We pride ourselves on relentless energy and fantastic communication.
Risk Mitigation
We carry Public Liability and Worker's Compensation insurance. This means if we break or damage something within your premises, we have the necessary insurance in place to have it rectified. If one of our cleaners were to get injured on the job, they are covered by our insurances.
Quality
All of our staff are employees of Schmucker Cleaning, which enables us to maintain a high level of consistency across our cleaners. We provide meticulous initial training and ongoing performance management for all of our cleaners to deliver consistent service to the client.
Our Guarantee
We offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If we did not complete the job to the client’s satisfaction, the client has the right to inform us of any cleaning defect or omission within 3 calendar days of the completion date of the clean. We will return to the job site within 3 business days and remedy it at no extra cost to the client.

Founder & General Manager
The founder of Schmucker Cleaning, Robert brings a unique background to the industry. Having migrated from the United States in 2005, he spent 20 years as an Architect, a career that honed his attention to detail and project management skills.

Glaiza
Administrative Assistant
Glaiza joined our team in July 2025 and is our Administrative Assistant based in the Philippines. She holds a Nursing degree, is highly experienced in all administrative aspects and is currently responsible for customer relations management, job scheduling and quotations.

Sabrina
Cleaning Team Leader / Assistant Manager
Sabrina is a Cleaning Team Leader/Assistant Manager from Brazil. She holds an Architecture/Interior Design degree, is highly detail oriented and a great communicator and has been with us since November 2024. We are in the process of sponsoring Sabrina to migrate permanently to Australia.

Cleaner
Yulitza is from Chile and joined our team in April 2025. She holds a Law degree and is a highly skilled all-around cleaner with a particular focus on general house cleaning. We are in the process of sponsoring Yulitza for long-term employment and ultimately permanent migration.

Cleaning Team Leader
Leidiane is a Cleaning Team Leader from Brazil and started in November 2024. Holding a nursing degree, she is currently on a permanent part-time contract in office cleaning while on a student visa. We are in the process of sponsoring Leidiane in long term employment and permanent migration.

Cleaner
Regina is a skilled all-around cleaner from Brazil and joined us in July 2025. With training in hairdressing and a degree in industrial design, Regina does a variety of cleans including general house cleaning, spring cleaning, and even bond cleaning.

Cleaner
Deina is a high energy all-around cleaner who joined us in May 2025. Originally from Peru, she holds a degree in Management and Marketing and is on a Working Holiday Maker Visa. She has a focus on health and office cleaning.

Mirella is a meticulous cleaner from Argentina and joined us in September 2025. With a degree in Business Management and experience as a Yoga Teacher, Mirella’s expertise is in general house cleaning.
